Meet The Team

Adrienne

I’m Adrienne Veltman, a board-certified music therapist with a passion for utilizing the power of music to provide opportunities for personal growth and create connections. I graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Therapy, and completed my internship at Bi-County Services, a day program facility serving Medicaid waiver recipients, in 2021.

My therapeutic philosophy centers around building relationships and providing client-centered experiences. I tailor each session to my client’s unique needs, using client-preferred music and music experiences to help them work towards their goals, and support them as needs arise in sessions. I also provide my clients with many opportunities to make choices, inviting my clients to take a larger role in their own therapeutic process.

In my professional experience, I have had the pleasure of working with people of all ages with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities, as well as some adults with a dual-diagnosis of cognitive disability and mental health disorders. I love getting to connect with each individual I serve and getting the opportunity to support them as they work towards increasing their independence and becoming their best selves! Here at Mainstay, I serve clients in Goshen, Kendallville, and Wolcottville.

Outside of sessions, I like to read, go on walks, watch movies, play board games, and spend time with family and friends!
