I am a board certified music therapist who graduated from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania in 2017. I interned in a nursing home working in the memory care department and then transitioned to working on the Medicaid waiver program in 2018. I have experience working with all ages and stages.
At Mainstay, I provide music therapy services in the Fort Wayne Area on the Medicaid waiver program. I also provide hospice services in Fort Wayne. I have also been a supervisor for practicum students through my Alma Mater, as well as work on the internship team with Mainstay.
My therapeutic philosophy is very person centered by letting each client have a say in what they need in therapy. The relationship between the client and myself is the most important part of the growth process and reaching goals. I love to take each person’s ideas, music and experiences into account and create a positive space to cultivate growth.
Outside of music therapy, I enjoy cooking and finding new recipes to make. I also love spending time with my two kids and family finding fun things to do around Fort Wayne.
