I graduated from Radford University with a bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy and a minor in American Sign Language. I am also an Assistive Technology Specialist and a Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP) Certified Professional. LAMP is a way of teaching individuals to communicate utilizing assistive technology. I am passionate about working with families to increase an individual’s communication! I completed my internship in Lafayette, Indiana where I served 15 groups across elementary, middle and high schools as well as individual sessions for people receiving waiver services. I am the Chief Operating Officer at Mainstay and am responsible for Employee oversight, New Client Intakes and managing Therapist’s Schedules. All of my sessions are held at our clinic, I have experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities, school aged children, older adults, dementia, Alzheimer’s, and memory care patients.
