Meet The Team

Michelle

I’m Michelle, a Board-Certified Music Therapist who graduated with my bachelor’s degree from University of Dayton in 2024 and completed my internship at Park Nicollet Health Partners. I have had the pleasure of working with people of all ages, learning from the variety of strengths and goals each person brought to the process.

As a music therapist, I center my work around collaboration and connection. I believe that music has a unique ability to create opportunities for individuals to identify, strengthen, and add to their personal and community resources. By connecting with those personal and community resources, individuals can grow in resilience and journey towards self-actualization. My goal as a music therapist is to be a collaborator in this effort, supporting and learning with and from clients.

I started my own musical journey in middle school orchestra, playing the violin. That quickly grew into a general passion for making music, the greater variety, the better! I also play the piano, guitar, and a variety of percussion instruments.

Outside of music therapy, I enjoy exploring new places and learning new things —either in person or in a good book. My favorite place to be is anywhere there’s sunshine!
